This surge reflects a broader trend where pet owners are exploring unconventional wellness gifts like ‘dog reiki’, which has seen a 53% increase in demand, according to a new trend report.

A significant 84% of pet owners now regularly invest in grooming services, while 83% show interest in treatments aimed at enhancing their pets’ wellbeing, such as massage and anxiety therapy.

2024’s Trending Christmas Gifts for Pets The year 2024 marks the advent of ‘pet wellness’ as a theme for Christmas gifts. Ethical pet treatments are gaining traction, with ‘dog acupuncture’ leading the search volumes with a 246% increase. This treatment, along with others like dog exfoliating scrubs and blueberry facials, caters to various pet needs, from injury recovery to anxiety relief.
