OUT NOW: February 2026 Pets Magazine

Editor’s Letter – February 2026

Welcome to a new month of Pets Magazine – and the soft, snow-lit heart of winter. ❄️

In this issue, we ask what February might be trying to tell us – about our animals, about ourselves, and about the bond we share.

We begin with the stars in Paws & Predictions (p.4), your February pet horoscope to inspire and amuse. Then broadcaster Carole Malone shares a personal piece on why dogs make the best workout partners in Murphy & Me (p.7) – a charming look at exercise, motivation, and the love of a good dog.

On p.9, Dr David Cliff invites us to ponder a gentle mystery in The Feral Cat Indoors – a true story about a wild cat who may, or may not, have chosen a fireside home.

We also review some brilliant dog treats and goodies on p.15, and our Breed Focus (p.16) turns to the lively, lovable Cocker Spaniel – a British classic that’s winning hearts all over again.

And finally, for our feline fans, columnist Katie Gwilt offers clever enrichment ideas for house cats in The Cat’s Whiskers (p.22).

These are the stories that linger – like pawprints in snow – soft, symbolic, and full of meaning.

Wishing you and your pets warmth, wonder, and the promise of longer days ahead.

With love,

Marie Carter-Robb
