Review: Such Paw-fectly Perfect Treats For The Pampered Pooch In Your Life!

We’ve reviewed many types of dog treats before, ranging from baked biscuits to organic grain free offerings, but seldom do we come across a brand that packs such a mightily wholesome punch. Pawfect Foods is true to its name in producing dog snacks that are delicious and high quality.

The Pets Mag canine review team, consisting of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Sophie, 12, Nell, 14 and 3-year old Rufus, were lucky enough to get their paws on a selection of the brand’s treats recently. These grain free human grade treats come in a selection of very palatable offerings from including Himalayan dental sticks (Rufus’s personal favourite!) to herbal infusions and ‘elevenses’ dog cookies, vegan fruit and veg jerky.

The ladies loved the ‘Nature’s Munch’ range which consists of fresh dried and bit size banana, apple, pineapple, papaya, coconut and mango. The humans in the team also smelled the treats and they did indeed indicate their respective fruit – far removed from so many similar offerings, they actually resembled in more than appearance what they are. A great start. It felt good and wholesome to be feeding the dogs something that looked and smelled natural and was good for them too.

The Himalayan cheese treats were a huge hit with one lucky boy especially, 3 year old Rufus, who absolutely cannot get enough of the brand’s Himalayan Chew Bars – yum yum!

It’s a 5-Star Paws Up from the Pets Mag Canine Review Team.

If we’re adopting the wellness movement more than ever, why shouldn’t we involve our four-legged best friends too? They, after all, are firmly part of the family and deserve naturally sourced and healthy treats too!

The background to the brand

For an award-winning premium pet treat business that was only born back in early 2019, it’s incredible to think that Gillingham-based Pawfect Foods already operates within 15 pet enthusiast markets, (branded & white label) with 5, (soon to be 7) all-natural dog treat propositions.

Perhaps the one chink in Pawfect’s armoury is that relative to Europe & North America, Pawfect is less known in its UK home market, which is why Prash and the Pawfect team decided that this was the perfect moment to enlist the sales (Titan Brands) and marketing (Purple Pilchard) expertise of two specialist incubator agencies operating in pioneering human foods and drinks brands.

According to Pawfect Foods founder, Prash Patwardhan, ‘With incredible food disruptors like: Hunter & Gather, Boundless Activated Nuts, Made for Drink, Purely Plantain, Health Lab and Small Giants within their client stables, Gavin Mclean and Ian Hills are perfectly placed to build upon our early Amazon success and showcase Pawfect’s distinct portfolio of tasty yet nutritious snacks made with best-in-class, human-grade ingredients.

Pawfect with its purpose-built/BRC accredited facility in India and an Innovation Department overflowing with game-changing NPD is perfectly placed to bring its well-balanced range of nutritious, guilt-free dog treats to the UK’s growing community of vocal ‘pet parents’ railing against the depressing dearth of ‘nutritionally vacant’ pet treats that still dominate so many pet food fixtures with their unsavoury fusions of 2nd best meats, lazy grains, excessive sugars & synthetic nasties.

Early 2021 will see the roll out of Cheescuits, Himalayan Cheese Treats, Nature’s Munch & Doggy’s Cuppa alongside NEW ARRIVALS Nature’s Kitchen & Nature’s Feast propositions.
