English Bull Terrier Sykes has been named Britain’s Best Office Dog. The pooch was entered into the national competition launched by Muddy Paws and voted the winner by fans on Facebook.

The competition was free to enter and received dozens of entries from all over the UK. Serious-looking Sykes was snapped by his owner Anna Marie Goode sporting reading glasses and perusing a story book, which also happened to be about another English Bull Terrier.

Anna Marie runs an English Bull Terrier Rescue based in Hereford and was delighted that Sykes was picked as the winner. The pair won themselves a £100 voucher to spend at Muddy Paws, which will be put to good use. She said: “We are going to use the voucher to buy some doggie stuff for our rescue dogs that we take in to our home”.

Rupert Brown is the owner of Muddy Paws, he said: “Sykes was a worthy winner as Britain’s Best Office Dog and he certainly looks like a hard-working team member in his specs.”
